Chic are one of disco and R&B's most influential acts of all time, and you've most likely bust a move to one of their grooves at least once in your life. Tracks like 'Everybody Dance Now', 'I Want Your Love', and 'Dance Dance Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah' have helped see them inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame as artists, record inductees (for 'Good Times'), and as producers (specifically, guitarist Nile Rodgers and bassist Bernard Edwards).

Chic are such a seminal act that they've even been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seven times previously (in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012), and are also in the runnings again for 2013, almost 40 years after they originally formed.
