Carl Froch is a pro-boxer hailing from Nottingham. Born in 1977, he is the current reigning IBF champion at super-middleweight, and also the WBA unified champion. Known as The Cobra he's one of the Top 10 pound for pound boxers in the world. George Groves, on the other hand, is an English boxer from Hammersmith in London, who has come a long way since his years in the amateur divisions, in which he was a champion. He's only notched up a single loss in his professional career - in controversial fashion to Froch!

Two more than able super-middleweights, you can imagine that a fight between the two would be immense - both have almost no losses, a load of wins, and a high percentage of KO finishes. One of Froch's, however, came controversially against Groves back in November 2013.

With Groves up on all three judges scorecards, the referee stopped it in the ninth and gave Froch the win, sending the British boxing world into a frenzy. Almost as soon as the match was over, calls for a rematch were in the air, and a rematch is what we've got.
