Brix Smith is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Los Angeles, California.

Best known as the lead guitarist for the English post-punk band, The Fall, the joined the band in 1983 after she met and married the band's vocalist Mark E. Smith earlier that same year. She first appeared of the group's album 'Perverted By Language', widely credited as the driving force behind their new sound and their break into the mainstream. She split from The Fall and from Smith in 1989.

Since then, she has gone on record as part of The Adult Net, Brix & Marty and as a solo artist, under which she has released one album in the shape of 2021's 'Lost Angeles'.
