Amanda Palmer is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from New York. She found fame fronting dark cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls alongside Brian Viglione, but now leads a successful solo career - as well as also being involved with Baroque pop pair Evelyn Evelyn, and her own venture Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra.

Her debut solo album, 'Who Killed Amanda Palmer', hit shelves in 2008, and reached #77 in the US Charts, but it was her second record, 'Theatre is Evil', that saw her find much more commercial success, peaking at #10. Her latest release, 'Piano is Evil', dropped in 2017, but she released a new single, Judy Blume, in Februrary 2018.

In May and June 2015, she embarked on a UK and Ireland tour that was her last before she gave birth to her baby. She toured her first post-natal adventure in 2016, heading across Europe, the US, down under to Australia.
